Ging, Gang and Ghoul were a second-generation Lavadome bats. Raised on dragonblood, they were bigger, stronger, and faster than their normal bat cousins. The Copper tasks them with observing and documenting the movements of the demen army in during the last stage of Dragons-Demen Wars.
This kind of bats were unable to feed on something else than dragonblood. Despite their usefulness, a number of dragons realized for their schemes how these bats could be trusted on their information only after their received their reward in blood. Prompting a bat on giving the info collected before receiving the blood, often caused the bat to deliberately lie and tell what the dragon wanted (in order to cut the dialogue and get the reward).
